29/08 - Dear friends,
The Big Bang! festival has been postponed a second time, so I will not be performing this weekend as promised.
For those who have asked, though, I promise there will be a replacement show in Beirut soon.
Otherwise, I will be having a chat with the lovely Ziad Nawfal this coming Monday at 8pm on Radio Liban (96.2fm)
Tune in and join us live on the airwaves :)
22/07 - Dear friends,

14/11 - A few weeks ago I attended this art party in Bethnal Green... There were belly dancers, live models, post-punk bands, xmas lights, and a great big mess of crayons, paper, and paint. The kind promoters have invited me to play at their next event at Melange. It will be a fun evening of art and music, and my first London gig of 07. Come get messy with us!

26/09 - I know, it's been ages since I last wrote... I've been notoriously slow at completing album II, for a number of reasons - the details of which I won't bore you with here!
In the words of J. Winterson:
"It seems so obvious, this question of pace, and yet it is not. Reviewers, who can never waste more than an hour with a book, are the most to blame. Journalism encourages haste; haste in the writer, haste in the reader, and haste is the enemy of art. Art, in its making and its enjoying, demands long tracts of time. Books, like cats, do not wear watches. Over and above all the individual rhythms of music, pictures and words, is the rhythm of art itself. Art objects to the fakeries of clock culture."
That is not to say it won't be done soon ;-)
Friends old and new have contributed to it... I won't say a lot now (to avoid any false expectations) except that I hardly played any acoustic guitar on it at all.
Also while I was away, I contributed some vocals to a song entitled Dreams from the Underground from Meanwhiles' (most beautiful) upcoming album. First time I heard them play it live, my heart started beating at double-speed and my eyes widened in disbelief; so I was totally honoured when Josh asked me to sing on the track. Watch out for these boys! (...especially if you happen to be around Benelux/Germany this Autumn...)
More news soon, I promise!
23/02 - Hey everyone,
